The comments of PNG ring very true. Had a few dealings at their government level myself in the distant past.
The big difference today however, is that governments need revenue generating projects more than ever. It is in the interest of PNG to get businesses over the line and take royalties from such projects as Misima. With the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans also in the mix in terms of offshore investment in the Asia Pacific region, I think there is a lot of good things to happen on the resources scene.
In terms of TLM of which I am also a holder, I think there is a lot of synergy with KSN going forward. Not to mention also that the Cobar region in general will see quite a bit of M&A activity in the coming years.
I note T. Locantro is pushing TLM at present to his clients. Fingers crossed TLM and KSN both have favourable growth stories.
