Why wouldnt nuggets show in aircore? Granted, the likelihood of recovering a nugget is slim, but entirely possible. Good 'visuals' could be favourable rock type, alteration or other indicator minerals, even small gold specs/dust.
Sieving samples is standard, and panning samples also certainly takes place...
Either way, lets wait and see.
