    I still think that this is good science, being conducted by reputable people, who have encountered an unexpected assay problem that requires further investigation before they can remedy it. They may well be regretting their initial confidence in reporting the visual logging observations before they were confirmed by assay though. But the logging reports in the release of 12 November were quite specific and perfectly convincing.
