When I say it would be nice to know what it cost I mean in the interest of transparency to all shareholders.
Far smarter and more knowledgeable people than I made the decision that it was worth a shot and if it had come off everyone would have been saying that it was a bold insightful strategy.
You shouldn't then want to throw out all the toys in the cot when things don't work out the way you would have liked but readily available transparency is particularly important to ensure both short term and long term confidence.
