If there was no hope of finding anything significant the drilling company would demand cash, drill the holes & then run for the hills!! Wouldn't you?? The fact they are willing to take a vested interest in this project shows there is potential at this site.

If the drilling company was in a financial hole they would demand a cash payment, but they are willing to pay for the drill project out of their own pocket. Why would you do that if there was nothing to find!!

I can't believe I'm about to say this but are we finally becoming a mining company?
