I was pleased to see the latest exploration update answered some question posed on the forum about the cross-section. The background shading on the Southern structure extends to show why it is considered open, and the colouring of the legend has been adjusted (compared to the previous announcement) to make the higher gram-metre areas more distinct. Both the intersections and the background have had a higher grade category added. The pinkish threshold has been moved up the scale.
Compared to the area already included in the pits, the extensive high grade material South of, and below, the main pit is quite striking, but exactly what it means requires the other elements foreshadowed in the announcement, namely plans for an updated Helen's reserve, and an updated resource estimate for the LGP. I was pleased to see that included.
All of which reinforces what I thought was a commendable lack of hype.
