Not so negative.
1. Coming quarterly will be the big one where many ppl will decide if AJM is a dud or the begining of something sustainable (in a downturn) and great (in the long term).
2. Knowing what you have in the ground is never a bad idea. If we are target for a takeover it only helps to serve to increase total company value. They won't need to mine it if they get taken over, but can help boost perceived total value.

But cash flow will be key - the quarterly will reveal if they can afford to focus on these side endeavours and still improve cash position. If so, why not. If not, begin to worry.
