He was probably employed when the shares were worth 3c and has worked his arse off to acquire his holding over the past 8 - 5 years. The only motivation here is to be rewarded for your hard work.

You are right, it's 10.6m shares, currently worth $3.4m, only 340years at average wage.
I'm just answering the question of motivation. An Australian comparison this is $30m, would that motivate you?
