ie find the source of the gravitational influence, which should be some form of mineralisation denser than surrounding rock - probably iron, then work out where the mineralising system goes.

The gravity signal seems to be very clear. Since they have not identified any source for it, I infer, as a layperson, that the core is low on any mineralisation at all and we’re not much more informed than we were before - at least off visuals, hopefully assays will give up some insight.
