With performance rights, different slant I guess to yours. Everyone's take on anything will be slightly different anyway.
Acquiring good acreage and applying for drilling permits is part of the BOD's job description - and, in itself, does not equate to any special performance on their part. They should not get bonuses for doing their job. If their employees do their job, they keep their jobs and the BOD should be in the same position. I will add that it has taken them a longer time to get where we are now than their own predicted timeframe. Stellar performance will certainly warrant some reward - but we are not there yet.
The real measure of their performance is currently reflected by the valuation that the market has placed on the company - and that is half what the market valued the company at the beginning of the year. Yes, there is a war going on in Europe but "great performance" would have prevented the slide in the SP.
Holes in the ground and clear progress towards actual commercialisation would be the parameters I would consider to be performance - and an SP that reflects that performance.
Drilling water wells and getting indications that Helium is around is fantastic news (and great in the knowledge that there is great future potential)- but that is just normal operating activities. These results would have happened anyway in the normal course of activities. BOD did nothing special to achieve the results.
I don't think knocking posters who bring up this issue is that helpful anyway. We should all look at the companies we invest in nore on balance. Otherwise, we are running purely on emotion and wishes
