    Thanks for the reply. I find it interesting because normally this is never really a question apart from native title (not many objectors to mines in the middle of nowhere), but in this particular case it's a pretty stunning part of Australia and I was imagining it might get more scrutiny (even from non local Victorians). There's not much going on out there but in terms of scenic drives and a bit of 4wd (plus near a stunning lake) it's a very nice tourist spot.

    I was curious how the process would go in terms of objectors though. I think you're right in that no matter how responsible a company is and how good plans are to manage things there will always be someone who complains. Normally this is pretty reasonably handled with things like compensation, good land practices, waste disposal ect but I wonder how Victoria handles these things. I'm not too familiar with how things get done down there and I can imagine it would get more attention than say a gold mine in western vic.

    Thank you for the reply, It's an interesting topic. I'll continue to research this one as I'm pretty bullish on copper.
