Would it have made much difference if they found the fresh water in SE2 and skipped SE3??
Would have saved the cost of SE3 drill minus some costs (possibly large depending on if next drill site ready or not and how long to arrange things at short notice).
But then we wouldn't know if SE3 had water too. There's a fault between SE2 & 3 so it might have been OK. Now we know but only because it was drilled.
Share price would have been hammered anyway just as much.
