In some cases seismic, both 3D and 2D can show the presence of gas in a reservoir, this generally occurs when the reservoir is not too dense, often when the sands are young and shallow. The Kingia is neither young nor shallow and to most peoples minds doesnt show gas / water.
My comments about 3D seismic were aimed at a potential change in the mapping if 3D seismic was used.
