There is always going to be some resistance from neighbours etc as who really wants to live next door to a gold mine? In saying that this is on private land not DOC Conservation Estate nor is it on a river or waterway that would be polluted like some others.
It's good scale in regards jobs & economics, it has to be one of the best candidates for FastTrack imo.
