I do get the nonchalant reactions to this announcement.. It didnt address s2r's elephant in the room that is Fosterville. Seems like a long time between drinks at the moment with that one. What do they grow down that way anyway? Pity we cant just promise to buy the affected crops off them ahead of time, get drilling and sell whatever crops dont get smashed by the rigs by harvest time.. Or mount a drill rig on one of those farm machines that straddle the crops.. A few zip ties and rachet strops should do the job.
. Joking aside, its actually good that they are managing to work in with the farmers etc and not against them. Seems like thats a strength of this team and possibly a big part of what got them the rights to fosterville in the first place over the other deeper pocketed companies vying to obtain it.
Anyway, is latest announcement highlighted some new opportunities but not too much to spin the wheels in the immediate future given the overall sentiment around explorers at present but longer term is nice to have this kind of thing in the pipeline to give some good potential newsflow. Its the sort of thing that may reward us down the line. Fingers crossed for a northparkes or cowal.. I wouldnt complain.
