Your faith in "the market" and graphs is touching. There are hundreds of examples of the market's ignorance, but I suggest you take a look at SIR's share activity (and price graph ---and commentary on HC) in the 11 months prior to the announcement of the Nova discovery. The market clearly did NOT "know".
