I don't think the vaccine was ever going to be easy to develop. And it's not the issue.
You're confusing timing as if it's necessarily causal. That's a mistake people often make.
Clearly Minderoo have different priorities. Look at how they are grouped. Life threatening issues only re medical.
Now it may have taken them time to cut all of the projects out that didn't fit their tighter concerns and they bowed out slowly.
Just because that's the way to do it. You don't suddenly pull the rug out.
