I would argue most reasonable people, (even those so called "naive" economically or financially) would think a couple of weeks.. maybe a couple of months (at a stretch) is more than enough time to make significant financial decisions (to turn around) or radically improve (the prospects of) a business, a bad property decision, heck dare I say even a poor market investment decision....before realising it's all been the wrong one (from the start) and quickly drastically changing course.
But 3 years?
