The only companies who have weathered the storm, are the producers. Even some of those have gone no where. BC8 has built the company from the ground up in a hostile difficult climate. Many simply wont make it. The company has been able to attract well over $100m to build the company to this stage. Once its operational, then it can earn its market cap pa with both mines operational. That is on a fully funded basis.
Those studies you mention are critical. I wish anyone luck trying to arrange debt financing without them. Those studies are meant to reduce overall dilution and maximise returns over time.
A vast majority of all listed companies lack director ownership. BC8 team is heavily invested well above the current price. I take a lot of comfort from that. $8m is a lot of bread.
The chart is a reflection of the sentiment within the industry. The gold price is great for producers. Its not really helping smaller companies raise unless they happen to hit something really fantastic. BC8 has started to see the funds roll in with the first $9m allowing them to pre order long term lead items. That was Management and Ricklink working together to get the party started just in case they experienced delays with govts (or Chinese new year).
Think about this - The Chinese investors can get 200m shares and fund this thing. The market is critical of anything until it happens. Using the Shaws 74c target with Paulsens running, that provides them with a potential paper profit of some $100m on one asset. (That is the current fully diluted market cap). Tell me that doesnt motivate anyone! Add Coyote out of cash flow and they could argue another massive uplift. Even if the stock trades at a discount to its value, the uplift is excellent for those who take the risks. The current price is the market saying that the risks are extremely high. I get that. If you think they will get funded, then you are looking at one of the cheapest listed gold stocks. It has been hard for explorers and producers in this environment. The numbers are worth it imo. Who would have thought nickel and lithium companies would hit the wall during the massive decarbonisation phases? Grade is going to be king here.
