I do not see how the SPP will have takers if one can get the shares at the same price or even lower on the open market. SAS management need to manage this well, otherwise the SPP will be a massive flop and that will send the SP crashing. I am glad they came up with this announcement today to push out the date, there is enough bad news out there already and this gets buried in with the lot! What SAS needs is a massive announcement, one big enough to push the SP up & trigger FOMO, and the SPP will have takers. If SAS had a good announcement and decided to put it out today, with Trump imposing tariffs on China & firing HR McMaster, this would have been a wasted announcement. Hoping management have one good announcement in the back pocket, to put out before the new expiry date. By the way, I do not have inside information, this is just my thoughts and hopes for this stock, being a LT holder. Do Your Own Research please
