The directors have deep pockets so if there is a shortfall I would like to see them reach deep and take up any shortfall amount. This would send a strong signal to the market and boost the share price substantially. Personally I think the discount was not enough, and wasn't timed well with a follow up announcement. Had they have locked in a partner with a NRE payment, or at the very least announced an MOU, then we probably wouldn't be in this situation right now.
