You are right MRC is unlikely to see 100% uptake of the offer, in the last CR they secured 70% uptake which was pretty impressive when the SP was well below the capital raising price. we also have the former CEO holding around 5-10% of the company with his numerous shareholdings, after he was terminated he hasn't taken part in any of the CR's
It's a tough time for all retail shareholders with the significant increase in interest rates, I will be very surprised if we see more than 70% uptake with this current offer is 1 for every 1.38 shares, You are doubling your investment which is a significant investment for some.
Surely you understand this when you didn't take part in WKT's life-saving CR last year,
Anyway, once the retail capital raising is completed, the shortfall is offered to institutional investors. This is more important than the outcome of the retail offer.
