As a complete novice in such matters, seems to me that the extension gives time for the 3-year profitability plan to be largely implemented with, presumably, a commensurate increase in sp.
In other words, Gangus and Schaffer are on board with the plan, and Ilario's appointment as CEO, as they must also have been for the D Notice to succeed.
Interesting times as Ilario gets everything lined up.
