Norwood have called half a dozen or so trading halts in the last couple of years. Mostly for CR but also to announce the Affinion 'deal'.

It's hard to estimate the importance of the deal from that fact alone. The $35k deal was just announced, so you could assume it's bigger than that.

But then again Norwood is on its knees with an extended CR that potentially has no underwriter and they have run out of money. So they need retailers to throw money at them to survive and this particular announcement with a halt creates that scenario.

I'm strongly suspicious of this deal coming the afternoon it was needed for rights holders to face the choice of missing out or going in blind.

After what holders have been through if Paul is playing funny buggers now, well that's just brutal.

I just can't see a telco throwing millions of dollars at Norwood, certainly not upfront. They'd run the risk of losing most of it before their service was delivered.

I think it will be some sort of trial and I think it will fall into the $50-200k range for a few months and I think it will be similar to Thomas Cook requiring users to opt in/sign up rather than pushed on them. I think it's very likely to be WV orientated.

Time will tell, good luck to holders. I just hope PO isn't being his usual investor loathing self.
