Given a lack of information from the company, investors fear the worst. The quarterly update dosent seem to have stemmed the fear. The gradual decline in the SP confirms their fears. Having trouble raising cash from SH and the CEO not taking up his entitlement and the SP slipping well below the issue price only compounds their belief. Much hyped customers apparently walking away doesn't help.
In the back of peoples mind is Theranos.
The company is making good progress on its 3 Phase strategy and has been keeping the market informed, not just putting out announcements as much as some investors would like.
But the SP dipping below the issue price is not a good look and it looks like stop losses are probably being triggered.
It all smacks of a downward spiral that will only be halted by an inflow of cash or at least a firm contract.
Those who got in very early are still ahead but a lot of investors are hurting bad and wondering if the company is in a death spiral. Time will tell.
