this finance option is the last option we want to exercise being the most expensive. the extension date just has a bit of green on it, things change weekly here, and there is no point pulling the trigger this early if we don't need to. happy for them to wait until the last moment. AVZ would also have fairly advanced talks with the ASX on relisting you'd expect, and what's required. All of this makes me think we have 1 or 2 more options to go through first before we go with the Locke deal.
there are lots we don't know, and won't know until it's announced. background deals... court case settlements etc. AVZ have very good legal standing as we all know based on our court wins. getting the DRC to act on those in a timely matter is the hard part. (especially if you don't have a paper bag to hand them).
My hope, is we find a buyer the DRC is happy (and can operate in the grey areas which we can't) with and we leave them all to it.
