The directors collectively hold a reasonably large parcel of the shares which will easily make them wealthy almost instantly! Promoting the takeover is in their best interest because they can resign and not have to work hard to deliver themselves a guaranteed windfall. So why would they care about the small mum and dad shareholders who believe every announcement put out by them and supported the company through thick and thin. They can go and start all over again. This company has potential (and J-power know it) but the lure of easy money has always given the boards of many companies' to take the easy way out.
