TANZANIAPangani and Kilosa-Kilombero Blocks
In October 2015, TATA Petrodyne Ltd. (TPL) completed acquisition of 25% participating interest from Swala Oil and Gas, (Tanzania) Plc. (a partly owned subsidiary of Australia based Swala Energy Ltd.), in the Pangani and Kilosa-Kilombero Blocks (Licences) in Tanzania.
The acquisition enabled TPL to gain access to a new geographical region. The Blocks assets are located in the world-class East African Rift System with a total net land package in excess of 8750km2.
The impact structure Kito-1 is expected to be drilled in 2017.
