Stop the press. I mixed up depths. As predicted last week, hole 4 depth would be 800m, not 900m and Hole 5 700m, not 800m. Hole 3 should be 900m.

so the Hole #4 is almost done, likely finished/ hitting basement on Monday !!!!! Corrected post below:


Drilling slowed down compared to previous pace. I guess pressure is huge and sand/gravel more compacted.

So far:

Hole #4: so far at 787m depth. ~630m of Li-rich brine already. It has another 10-20m to reach basement. At current pace (12m/d) 1-2 more days. Might be done on Monday!!!


Hole #5: so far at 650m depth. ~460m on Li-rich brine already. It has another 60m to reach basement. At current pace (7m/d) in 9 more days.

I would therefore wait to hit basement for sure, if rigs keep spinning. Monday might be another big day.
