I bought a new decanter (it's unbelievable - The Wine Breather - check it out) and it took 4 weeks to get here. It was dispatched the day after ordering so it was four weeks in transit. Same with a bunch of other stuff I've bought online recently.

They may have received advice that they should keep the offer open as they may not have allowed enough time for some smaller SH to take up the offer. The delays are real and well known so to not extend the offer may have exposed them to some risk.
