DA, they wouldn't be allowed to sell at the moment. The ramifications of them selling now and the sample being a dud would far outweigh the $ value of those shares.
"I'm more of the belief they think until waiting until they have excellent news is better than consistent updates" - based on what? "At least what you see is what you get now" - SP can't get any lower and it's somehow positive. "I can see them being sneaky. Like see market weakness, sit on news until it drops and then accumulate through other entities, or even directly. I can't see that volume being just retail buyers snapping them up, at the rate the buys were going this afternoon" - I'm not even sure how much to laugh at this.
You talk about rationale and logic and then come out with these absolute crackers.
A miniscule amount of purchasing at rock bottom prices could be sneaky directors accumulating through other entities on the withholding of price sensitive information, but the dumping of nearly 3b shares on the same day doesn't mean the sample might be rubbish because the directors didn't sell any of their free shares in a period where they wouldn't be allowed...
Here's one, what if the dumping of the shares today was the directors previous sneaky accumulation?
