Going to test my luck and see if I can get someone to generously respond before this gets moderated for being off topic. I feel I might as well get some use out of this CLZ thread instead of reading all the crap that usually is on here so here goes..

Been trying to research on the internet but thought maybe I can get quick confirmation here... Does brokerage for buying and selling get added onto your cost base? For example buy $1000 worth of a stock and pay $10 brokerage. Sell the shares and pay $19.95 for selling. Would that mean the cost base for that stock is 1000 + 10 + 19.95 = $1029.95?
