Yep, relatively boring - but there is some significant fine print:
previously it was limited to $500m, and 12-months
Now it is limited to 10% of issued capital per 12 month period (~300m shares, which is basically a 10-fold increase on the above) and the scheme is ongoing (i.e. not a 12-month extension).
They probably won't use the facility - but yes it sends a message to shorters that there is a limit to how much they can make on the downside before some serious support kicks in.
