I bought TEG shares years ago when they had the Indonesian (from memory) assets. They went through a 1 for 10 offer which left me about 4000 shares and then I completely forgot about them. Got the letter the other day, threw it in the recycle bin. Had spare time on Saturday, read through the posts re TEG assets and GAS share ownership and thought why not I might dip me toe in hear so retrieved the SPP letter from the recycle bin and was about to purchase when I saw the cut off date was 18/09 so threw letter back into the recycle bin. Looked at the share price about an hour ago and thought holy f... Then I read the posts again and saw the SPP was extended. My Wife thought I was going loony when I screamed and raced out the door, the next thing she sees is all the recycle all over the lawn and paper flying everywhere. Found it. Must tell the kids that the Maccas sweet and sour sauce does not go in the recycle bin. Now I'm covered in it.
