I do not think it will play out as you expect. The Middle East conflict has just expanded in a big way! You won’t hear it in the mainstream news but get telegram or Twitter or something and follow some independent journalist accounts. US and UK with the help of Australia, Netherlands and others just bombed multiple targets in Yemen. In retaliation there is a report that a U.S. ship has been sunk and a fighter jet downed. The US embassy in Iraq was also bombed. This has the potential to spiral out of control. Once the masses wake up, expect gold to go onto a tear into mid 2500$ usd minimum.
