@nondiscrypt - as a newbie as you say, there is nothing wrong with being a nervous nellie at times. This simply means you are questioning you're own strategy in how you make decisions towards making an investment. This is all part of learning and is a good thing.

In relation to WGL, I don't know what price you have bought in at, however my only suggestion is to ensure a tight stop loss is in position to manage your exposure. How the SP will move when it re-opens next week is anyones guess - so placing oneself in a better position of managing your risk exposure is of key importance.
