so the continuing delays have given me time to see what else is out there in this market. Seems like there are other Apps that promise data savings using a VPN but interestingly Wangle didn't include them in their benchmarking.

Have a look at OnavoExtend on the iOS App store (could be on Android as well), whether or not it is as effective as Wangle is yet to be seen but I haven't had to pay any money to use it and have seen data savings of up to 30%, particularly on Safari web browsing.

It doesn't seem to be any faster but I consistently get 80-100 Mbps on Telstra 4g at work so it's difficult to notice any difference.
