Debt for equity? Desperate attempt to survive imo? Why would you do a debt for equity if that was not the case? This means giving majority of the shares to the debt holders in return they extend your debt or give you more debt
Shareholders pay the cost, while debt holders gain control
That is how it works if it is a debt for equity transaction
