I beg to disagree the product assets are there an export market is established both for traditional uses and for the merging medicinal applications. The labour skill set is there and the yields seem to be better than predicted (subject to results of latest crop) - short term liquidity is the issue once dealt with the future is foreseeable.

This product like wine and walnuts has a long period where cash is expended before returns are possible but when they do come they are substantial - especially here where there is no other product source freely available - the indian product being over harvested.
