Having the best product doesn't always mean it will be a big seller. The pricing has to be right and the proof takes decades, if you are a profitable company which already has presence in a market it'll probably be easier to convince doctors to change, as there is already a rapport between the parties. Thus is the challenge of Admedus.
There are lots of times the inferior product won, USB 1 is one example.
