I don't call to get soothing reassurances, I call (on the rare occasion) to try and clarify queries. I did call this time. I was comfortable with the answers in respect to the suspension, I was not comfortable with the response to my question as to why they were in a huge rush to pay back the loan. Overall I felt I had a better understanding after calling. Hopefully that helps you understand better why some like to call. There's no right or wrong in the way people go about getting answers to their investments, there's just opinion.
