I have been investing in the stock market for over 30 years and have endured many refinancing transactions. Some have taken months to complete due to the nature of the deal. The deal AJM are working on could be quite complex and therefore will take time to ensure a satisfactory outcome for all parties involved. I would hazard a guess that if Chinese parties are involved a further extension may be on the cards due to the fast approaching Chinese new year.
I wouldn't panic yet, deals of this size require cogent due diligence and consequently time.
