EM1 wasn't always in bed with Crowd 1. EM1 had and has potential, especially with a proper partnership with ICI where they can have a platform of exclusive games that people would be interested in playing for fun and competitively.
However once they start partnered with Crowd 1 and with certain investors coming on board, red flags started to appear.
