Petty clear that Barrick have a keen interest in the Kurouni basin
What would be the implications for Barrick's earn in agreement if try folded? Would they then have to out bid other for what try have?
Logic tells me it would be in Barrick's best interests to come up with some sort of deal to either keep try afloat or TO.
But try would be best placed if the had one or more other suitors to get the best deal out of Barrick, Barrick are cashed up and given their interest in the area I doubt they are going to let an opportunity like this slip through their finger. Obviously try need to look after the best interest of SH
ATM we are just speculating, the wording in the announcement "Troy anticipates that the voluntary suspension will be lifted on the earlier of the
commencement of normal trading on 13 October 2021 or when an announcement of its financial position is released." suggest only that it's about financial position and we know that the financial position is not great but if that is all it is about would not take this long.
