Barrick are obviously quite interested in the relatively under explored Guyana Shield, dare say amassing a large area of tenements is quite a task so try is quite attractive and we can see Barrick don't mind throwing a few $million away just check the potential of an area.
Came to mind that when TRY acquired Azimuth they also got a reconnaissance permit called East Omai, it is a huge area that had not even had the surface scratched I wonder if they still have that or if it's still available.
Bit more speculation, I presume that try still employs most of the workers the had. If try was going into administration or the like, terminating employee's would be one of the first tasks and that would be in the news in Guyana yet noting mentioned in the news along those lines
Well we have one more week before the current voluntary suspension ends so here is hoping we get some news one way or another or do we get another extension and have to wait longer?
