Generally speaking a company unable to inform the market of its finacial position can't be a good thing.

For a more positive outlook it could be possible that alex lui is an activist investor and is currently restructuring the company knowing full well of legal issues that would come with it, because he could have gotten business modeling from a third party to increase the value of the company in a certain time horizon remembering that a common thermatic of activist investors is short term pain for long term gain as these types of investors dont operate on short time periods say for instance under a year.
