The $400M spent on Beyondie sounds great but much of it is likely to be wasted money. As a result I wouldn't feel like RWD was missing out on hundreds of millions of dollars in the event they don't end up owning the whole lot.
As it stands the Beyondie operation is liability. If there were other parties lining up, RWD wouldn't still be at the negotiating table.
I think it is likely RWD achieves a worthwhile outcome for the company and shareholders.

Hi,
Demonstrating the new process with minimal dilution, certainly the preferred outcome.
My preferred way of getting to that would be a joint venture with RWD vending in their IP for Beyondie , plus or minus taking a future royalty.
The longer the present situation goes on , the more likely the deal is a ''Norwegian Blue''.
My concern is that the present management and ownership , will find it difficult , emotionally , to give up control , and or dilution of their ''baby'' , perhaps to the detriment of the future of the company.
That would likely be the case with the long term holders I have on ignore as well , I would think.
