In NEO's announcement on the 10th July 2008 titled 'San Joaquin California Project Update' it has a section titled 'About the San Joaquin Basin, California'.
The exact same extract appears in an announcement by IPM (Incremental Petroleum) on the 14th April 2008.
Questions:
1)Why is NEO's reasons for being in the San Joaquin Basin identical word for word to IPM's reasons? Surely as a unique entity with unique management with a unique management style NEO has its own reasons for being in the San Joaquim basin?
2)How do you intend to instill confidence into investors and potential investors when NEO's PR person fills announcements with copy and pastes from other asx listed companies announcements?
When I found this identical statement I thought it was almost worthy of contacting Media Watch about. Couldn't you just see Media Watch quoting IPM's announcement and then saying 'and funnily enough Nuenco was thinking the same thing about the San Joaquim Basin 3 months later...'
As a suggestion going forward I think the PR person should spend an extra 10 minutes nutting out NEO's own genuine reasons.
Thank god the PR persons not at university. He'd have been outed for the plagiarism on that one ;-)
