People are missing the point with this government agreement (if my reading between the lines is right), it’s NOT about any carbonate plant commitment (which they already had planned for Phase 3 in 2028+ anyway), it’s ALL about the ability to now export our “less industrialised” early chloride product outside of Argentina! That would be a huge win for GLN and will open many doors to a more lucrative Phase 2 offtake/financing deal and for sure light a fire under Glencore for Phase 1.
