Maybe the seller believed the nonsensical adage that there are lies, damned lies, and statistics.
In terms of testing the null hypothesis (i.e. that Monopantel had no beneficial effect on the 20 patients) what's been reported today is very strong evidence that it did.
Practitioners of hypothesis testing customarily accept a probability of less than 1 in 25 as of interest. PAA have a probability of less than 1 in 1,000.
